I think I broke my blog. Comments going to the land of left socks. P2, you are one irritable hothouse flower of a theme, you know that?

A good reason for multiple accounts on Squidoo?
I’ve been following some of the controversy about multiple accounts on Squidoo, and I’ve just thought of something that may be a justification for continuing to allow lensmasters to have more than one account: adult content. If I were interested in publishing content that was not safe for all audiences, I would certainly want to have the option of doing so under a separate, anonymous account. I assume this is what some of our best authors are doing, if they have lenses that contain explicit material.
I don’t write or read adult-oriented lenses myself, but as others have said, adult content on Squidoo isn’t going away and it seems foolish to deny that it probably brings in a nice profit for the lensmasters who create it. I think online authors of explicit material should have the right to protect their professional reputation, and it seems to me that the best way for them to do this on Squidoo is to publish that material under an account that is not the one they use for their family-oriented lenses.
I’d like to hear other people’s thoughts on this… do you think lensmasters should have the option of creating a separate and anonymous account for their adult content? If not, why should this not be encouraged?

People buy weird stuff off my bra lenses.
I can’t decide which is funnier: the vibrator, or the Three Little Bears books. This sort of thing is the real reason I’m still on Squidoo.

What’s the word?! What the hell kind of thing is that to prompt a status update? I could have at least said “what the fuck is the go?”

Testing P2 theme. Kinda awesome.
If you want to test this on your own blog, here’s what to do: under Plugins, activate Theme Test Drive. Choose P2 from the dropdown list, click “Enable,” and go to your home page… ta-da!
This theme lets you post brief status updates and microblogs (like on Twitter) as well as full-length blog posts. If I were actually able to use P2, I’d probably integrate my site-wide status updates into the “Status” category page with an RSS widget.
