It seems that Dr Bronner was a pioneer in the manufacture of eco friendly cleaning as he first caught the eye of the public in the 60s and 70s.
All Dr Bronner products are made using old family recipes and they make much use of organic and fair trade olive oil – now that’s the kind of approach of which I really approve!
Mrs Meyers Clean Day products are not only green friendly cleaning but they have built in aromatherapy too! They come highly recommended by my Squidoo friend Correen, aka Clouda9, who uses Mrs Meyers products in her own home.
In fact Correen believes so much in these green cleaning products that she wrote a Squidoo lens about them, which recently she has given to me to add to my Going Green Ideas niche.
What I also like about Mrs Meyers products is that not only are they eco-friendly green cleaning but they are not tested on animals either.

The first time I had to buy head lice treatment products was when my five year old son started school. I was shocked to find what appeared to be tiny grains of rice stuck in his hair but since then, with four children, I reckon I can spot a live head louse at 100 yards!

The Dyson DC25 Ball Upright Vacuum Cleaner is rated by the Green Guide for everyday living website as the “greenest vacuum” but the fact that the majority of the parts on any Dyson Vacuum are replaceable is what appeals to me the most.
How many times has the repairman (or woman) come out to fix your washing machine, dish washer, vacuum or dryer and said: “You may as well buy a new one”?

Errrr……no, in the Best Holiday Lens category!
When you look at all the better than excellent Halloween lenses on Squidoo, I am gobsmacked – to use one of my quaint English expressions – that my lens was picked out.
To be nominated is such an honour and I just do not know how the Giant Squid Organisers, Bonnie and Robin, managed to sift through so many lenses and come up with such an extensive list. Not only do I feel honoured but I also feel truly humble to be appearing among so many great Lensmasters, who have taught me so much over these last 18 months.
I am also proud that one of my fav lenses has also been nominated - Christmas at AJ’s in the About Me category, but I say more about that in my other blog: Always Juggling on Squidoo.
