HTML And CSS Is Still Possible with the WYSIWYG Editor
7:09 pm in HTML/CSS for Squidoo by Melissa
What I am about to say, you are either going to agree or disagree with me. First off, I love the WYSIWYG editor that Squidoo had introduced over a week ago now. For you people whom have no idea what those letter stand for, let me enlighten you on that. Wyiwyg stands for “What you see is what you get”.
I did write a lens on that, but I am not plugging it here as I can tell you the same thing that I said on the lens. For now, WYSIWYG is isolated to the intro module. Obviously you have the popups in the other modules, but you don’t have the buttons you get in the intro.
I’ve heard some complaints about not being able to add HTML and CSS. Since I have used other sites that have used a wysiwyg editor, but also allow some HTML or CSS, I knew exactly where to look to get it to work. If you ever look at the editor, you will noticed a source button. Click it. If it worked, there should be no buttons above. Just put your html, css and text and you shall be ready to go.
