One of the first ideas that newbies at Squidoo need to get past is that each and every lens is going to be the perfect masterpiece, and that each and every lens is the one which will earn you the fortune that you are looking for. Because the truth of the matter is, you may be totally wrong on which lenses are the ones that will be popular, and which lenses will be the ones that will earn.
If one person has bought from my lens, then I need to see how to get more people to buy.
Remember that you are in control of what is on your page, and it is your job to interest your reader in order to keep them there as long as possible.
If you have ever worked in any kind of retail job, you will have heard of the term “add on sale.” This is when a customer buys something and you offer them a second item related to the first item, usually something inexpensive to add on to their sale. When people are looking to buy a specific item, they are already decided that they need it. Your job is not to convince them that they do. Your keywords have already brought people to your lens that have decided that they need what you are writing about.
