Do you realize that you have an online reputation? Everything you post online is part of your reputation. If someone does a search on your name, what will they find?
This is true when it comes to your collection of Squidoo lenses too. Your collection represents your public reputation on Squidoo. What you write about, what you complain about in forum posts, your opinions, and your lenses all constitute your Squidoo reputation.

What’s really important to remember is that our reputations don’t belong to us until we earn them. So we had better take care in how we work to earn our reputations.
If one’s rep is solid and they have earned that rep, then minor infractions are usually forgiven, but if someone earns a shady rep, all the good in the world won’t help untarnish the way we perceive them.
