Jaguar Julie Makes a Difference to New Lensmasters

About a year ago, I had joined Squidoo. I came upon Squidoo by chance. From day one, I had become hooked. I read everything that I could possibly read about Squidoo. There is one lensmaster that had stood out to me; Jaguar Julie. Her lenses made a difference to me and I am not sure if she realizes this, but I do look up to her. I have come a long way since I had joined Squidoo. Within 6 months of joining, I made it to Giant Squid Status and am on my way to making the Giant 100 club. I suppose in a lot of ways, she has inspired me.
The lenses that really stood out to me then and still stand out to me today are the ones that have to do with her fans and how she thanks everyone for joining her fan club. I also love her different lensographies that she has. I think that as long as she is a lensmaster, her lenses are going to be an inspiration to all the new lensmasters that come to Squidoo.

Melissa, thank you for your kindnesses. I really had no idea that I might have inspired you — thanks for letting me know. I’m really just like everybody else who has found something that they are passionate about — and I keep plugging away day in and day out. I think there can be a passion within each one of us — there surely is something that drives us or gets us excited. You start with that, and like the idea virus that spreads, you soon find you are on your way to Giant Squid — and then the rest is just history!

Those first few days when I joined a year ago made a real difference. Every time I turned around, there was another lens by you and I believe that I did get something out of the ones I did read.
