Arrested Syndicate Mentions Chef Keem's Particulars!
April 11, 2009 in Funnies by Chef Keem
You’ve got to hand it to them – spammers are a creative lot!
We’ve all seen Nigerian good-news emails. Lately, they’ve taken an interesting turn: The British High Commission is now on our side, against those nasty “scammers” from Africa.
My “name was among those scammed as listed by the Nigeria Financial Intelligent (?) Unit (NFIU)”. Thank God, someone started to look into this!
These good folks must be onto something special because my “particulars was [sic] mentioned by one of the Syndicates who was arrested as one of the victims of their operations…”
I’m sure my particulars are in good hands with the High Commission. It’s probably just a minor oversight that they’ve arrested the victims…
I’m further advised to “do the needful to make sure the NFIU dispatches your (all mine!) Draft on Friday”. Once I’ve met up the “demands of the conveyance”, FedEx will deliver the million to my doorstep.
“It’s apartment #1416. Could you leave it by my door if I’m not home, please?”
Oh, wait! These guys think about everything.: Mrs. Brenda Halls wants me to send my full name, address and phone number to her assistant, Mr. Patrick Mitch – for “communication purposes only”, so they can make sure I’m present when the dough rolls in.
For the last three hours I’ve been ‘glued’ to my inbox. Naturally, I can’t wait for the instructions of the Committee in regard to their demands of the conveyance.
I hope my particulars are sufficiently intelligence…

Oh dear Achim! It does sound like sticky wicket when your “particulars” are in the hands of the Nigerians with arrested development? What a creative lot WHAT the Nigerians or who we have gotten to know as the Nigerians. For, I remember many a year ago receiving those long handwritten letters that found me at the company I worked for. Then, voila, the internet age brought them more steadfastly to my door. Heck, even had a Nigerian studying up on my cool guide, A Step-by-Step Primer on How-to Squidoo. Look out as we may have some new Giant Squids!
Well, I am sitting here glued to your post awaiting an update on what Mrs. Brenda Halls has in store for you next.
