Today, we have a relatively new lensmaster standing in the spotlight here in the Exhibition Room. Zap1994 joined Squidoo in November of 2011 and as of this article he has crafted 25 lenses on the platform.
Bill loves sports and has spent 20 years coaching Baseball teams. He tells us about his love of the sport and a little more about himself in his lens titled Bill Howells that he wrote for RocketSquids.
I think you will enjoy reading Bill’s lenses made under the pen name Zap1994 as they are really well written with an obvious passion for sports. Most of his lenses, so far, are about Golf and Golf products. Since my house backs up to the 7th fairway on a golf course, I did enjoy reading about the products. Whether you love golf or not, I do think you can appreciate Bill’s voice and the detail he gives about each product.
Bill also tells in his “About Me” lens that he served in the Navy during the Vietnam War. So, publicly, I would like to say “Welcome home, Bill” and thank you for your service!
I am also guessing that those boys on the 2009 team that you coached will be better men for having had you in their lives. I love your dedication to the sport and to kids!
I encourage everyone who reads this post to go meet Bill, welcome him to the community, and get to know him a little better. Zap1994 is improving the sports lenses on Squidoo, in my humble opinion, and he seems like a really nice guy.
