Every month, lensmaster a_willow promotes and features the lenses of Squidoo newcomers through various activities. This gives the “fresh squids” a great opportunity to get introduced to the community and have their first lensbuilding efforts acknowledged.
Fesh Squid Group
There is also a monthly contest for the best newcomer lenses. Here are some basics:
- Lensmasters who joined Fresh Squid Group during this month will enter a Contest in the following month.
- One lens per lensmaster can enter. Anybody can vote on their favorite lens. Contest is open during the entire month.
- On the last day of the month, winners will be determined by number of votes their lens received.
- On the first day of the following month, list will be cleared and next set of new lensmasters will be entered with their lenses.
